Sharing and Embedding Assistants

The Ejento AI Assistant Embed feature provides users with a visual representation of the assistant within a messaging platform.


1. Sharing an Assistant Using the URL

Sharing your Ejento AI assistant via a URL allows anyone with the link to interact with the assistant. To do this, the assistant’s visibility must be set to public.

Step 1: Ensure Assistant Visibility is Public

1. Select the Assistant you want to share.

2. Click on Edit Assistant

3. Click here to update the assistant visibility.

4. Set it to Public

Step 2: Generate the Public URL

Once the assistant’s visibility is set to public, you can copy the URL:

1. Click on the Share Icon

2. Click on Open in chat widget

3. The Assistant will be opened in a new window and the URL can be shared

Step 3: Share and Test the URL

Share the copied URL with your intended audience. They can now interact with your assistant by simply visiting the link.

To test the URL:

  • Paste the URL into your browser’s address bar.
  • Ensure that the assistant loads correctly and is interactive.

2. Embedding an Assistant

Embedding your Ejento AI assistant allows you to integrate it directly into your website. This also requires the assistant’s visibility to be set to public.

1. Obtain the Embed Code

1. Click on Share Icon

2. Integrate the embed code into your website by following these steps:

  • Open your website’s HTML file or the platform where you manage your website content.
  • Paste the copied embed code into the desired location within the HTML.
  • Save the changes and refresh your website to see the embedded assistant.

The Sidebar and Chat History

On expanding the embed futher (arrow on the left in above image), The sidebar appears and it show the list of interactions that have been performed with the assistant embed. You can start a new interaction by clicking on the "New Chat" button in the sidebar.
