Load Data in an assistant
Ensure that you have either edit-level access for the assistant or that you are the assistant owner.
Index Text Data
- Select an assistant
- Under the Knowledge Base Tab:
- Click on "Upload"
- Select "Text" from the Data Sources Option
- Paste the text data in the textarea
- Click on "Index"
1. Select an assistant
2. Click on Knowledge Base
3. Click on Upload
4. Select Text from the Data Source Options
5. Paste text data into text area
6. Click on Index
7. Click on OK
Index File(s) Data
- Select an assistant
- Under the Knowledge Base Tab:
- Click on "Upload"
- Select "File" from the Data Sources Option
- Upload the data files
- Click on "Index"
1. Select an assistant
2. Click on Knowledge Base
3. Click on Upload
4. Select File(s) option from the Data Source options
5. click on choose file and select the data files to upload
6. Click on Index
7. Click on OK
- You may close the modal since file will get indexed in background.
Index Link(s)
- Select an assistant
- Under the Knowledge Base Tab:
- Click on "Upload"
- Select "Link" from the Data Sources Option
- Paste the links in the field (one link per line).
- Click on "Index"
1. Select an assistant
2. Click on Knowledge Base
3. Click on Upload
4. Select Link(s) from Data Source Options
5. Paste the links. Make sure each link is in a separate line
6. Click on Index
7. Click on OK
8. Here, you can see the status of the data from links being indexed.
9. The data from links has been indexed as the status shows "Completed"
