Ejento AI User Access Levels
1. User Types
Ejento AI supports three types of users: Global Admin, Application Admin, and User. Each with a set of responsibilities and levels of control in the system in aspects like User Management, Team Management, Admin Panel Access, Content Viewing, Privileges and Testing.
Global Admin
Global Admin has the highest level of access and control in the system.
User Management: Can assign roles to others, including making them Application Admins, Global Admins, or Users.
Team Management: Can create teams and has access to all teams, projects, and assistants (acts as the Team Owner for all teams).
Admin Panel Access: Full access to the admin panel, including analytics, user settings, chat logs, and aliases.
Content Viewing: Can view the Supporting Content and Thought Process for each chat response.
Privileges: Possesses all privileges of an Application Admin and a User.
Testing: Can perform evaluation regression testing on assistants.
Application Admin
An Application Admin manages applications and teams with elevated privileges.
User Management: Can assign roles to others, making them Application Admins or Users.
Team Management: Can create teams and manage users within teams (acts as the Team Owner for their created teams).
Admin Panel Access: Access to the admin panel, limited to analytics, user settings, and aliases.
Privileges: Possesses all privileges of a User.
User
A User can explore and utilize various functionalities and features within the system.
Project Creation: Can create projects.
assistant Management: Can create assistants, index data, and engage in chat.
Default Role: Assigned by default in case of SSO login.
2. Assistant Level Permissions
There are two levels of permissions for Ejento AI assistants: assistant Owner and assistant Editor, with different levels of control over the assistant.
Assistant Owner
assistant Owners (Creators) have complete control over their assistants. They can delete, edit, chat, and access the knowledge base of the assistant.
Assistant Editor
An assistant Editor can edit, chat, and access the knowledge base of the assistant.
3. Team Level Permissions
There are two levels of permissions for Ejento AI Teams: Teams Owner and Teams Editor, with different levels of control at which all the assistants can be accessed
Team Owner
A Team Owner has all the privileges of an assistant Owner for all assistants within the team.
Team Viewer
Team Viewer is the default access level for users added to a team. They can view and chat with all assistants within the team.
4. assistant Accessibility Levels
The assistant accessibility level decides how assistants appear to different Users.
Only Me
An assistant with "Only Me" accessibility is visible only to the assistant Owner (and Global Admin)
Only Team
An assistant with "Only Team" accessibility is visible to all users within the team.
Public
A Public assistant is accessible to every user inside and outside of the organization and team.
A public assistant can be shared on two levels:

View Only: Any user can chat with the assistant using this sharing link.

Edit Only: Any user can chat, edit, and access the knowledge base of the assistant with this sharing link.
A public assistant can also be embedded on a different site by copying and pasting the script in your website’s code.
A public assistant can also be interacted with via a sleek chat experience in a widget and shared with others.
