Teams in Ejento AI

In Ejento AI, a Team represents the highest level of organizational structure. Teams are designed to group members who collaborate on shared goals, projects, or tasks. This structure helps streamline workflow, improve collaboration, and maintain organized access control within the platform.

Each team is managed by a Team Owner, who has full administrative control, while other members are assigned specific roles with defined permissions to ensure secure and efficient operations.

Team Roles & Permissions​

To maintain structured access control and prevent unauthorized modifications, team members are assigned different roles with varying levels of permissions. These roles include:

1. Team Owner​

The Team Owner holds the highest level of control and administrative privileges within the team. Their responsibilities and permissions include:

  • ✅ Full access to all assistants, projects, and team settings.
  • ✅ Ability to create, edit, and delete assistants.
  • ✅ Managing team members by assigning and modifying their roles.
  • ✅ Defining and controlling team-wide permissions.

A team can have one or more Team Owners, depending on the organizational structure.

2. Team Viewer​

By default, users added to a team are assigned the Team Viewer role. This role is designed for general team members who need to interact with assistants without having the ability to modify them. Their permissions include:

  • Viewing and chatting with all assistants within the team.
  • Accessing shared team resources and information.
  • Restricted from making any modifications to assistants, projects, or team settings.

The Team Viewer role is ideal for members who need access to AI-powered assistance without administrative control.

Managing Team Roles​

Team Owners can modify roles and permissions based on project requirements. If a team member needs elevated access, the Team Owner can update their role accordingly. This ensures that sensitive data and functionalities remain secure while still enabling collaboration.
